Once upon a time, I would pour my heart out into pages like this, providing way more information than anyone could possibly want. Fast forward somewhere around 20 years and I’m just not an open book anymore. I value my privacy.

With that said, if you’ve navigated to this page, then you want to know a little more about me. Far be it from me to hold out on you completely, so without further ado, a little about me.

I am an introvert. Full stop.

Growing up, I was a military brat. An Air Force brat to be exact. I was born in Kentucky. I lived all over the place, including Florida, South Carolina, Indiana, Arizona, and multiple locations in Germany. I have some rather fond memories of some of my experiences as a brat which I’ll definitely be sharing on this blog.

As far as my adult years, we can agree to skip over those, right? While I’m doing a lot better these days, a lot of those years were not very fun at all.

That said, over those same adult years, I became proficient at a lot of things including cooking, child rearing, homeschooling, basic building (someone had to build the chicken coops and pens for our many, many chickens), and programming. Don’t mind me while I brag that I’m proficient in HTML, PHP, MySQL, CSS, a tiny bit of Javascript, and a whole lot of GML.

Programming and game development are my big passions. I’m starting to dip my toes into creating pixel art and while I love drawing by hand, I’m not amazing at it and I’m not so sure pixel art is going to be my jam yet.

I think that’s probably enough for you to get the gist of who I am … ermmm… hopefully.
