I was a little bit shocked recently to discover how expensive my domain registrar and web hosting had become respectively. I’d been neglecting these things for years, not paying attention to any aspect of them at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I’ve gotten more serious about a game I’m developing, it became clear to me that I would need to have a web presence for it, and I needed to go take a look at all of my online things and see where they stood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Needless to say, I ditched both the domain registrar and web hosting services as I knew I could find better options that weren’t so expensive. I chose Porkbun<\/a> for my domains and Nixihost<\/a> for my hosting. So far, I’ve been pretty happy with both. If there is any interest, I would be happy to share why I like each of these.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So, I have successfully managed to create fledgling web presences for my game and my game developer identity online.
